Dr. Aybüke Karaca Yağcı graduated from Dicle University Faculty of Law in 2010 and completed her master’s degree in Private Law at Erzincan University Social Sciences Institute with her dissertation on “The Concept of Occupational Accidents in Turkish Social Security Law.” She received her Ph.D. in Private Law from Istanbul University Social Sciences Institute in 2022, with a thesis on “Corporate Groups in Individual Labor Law.” During her doctoral studies, she conducted research for 9 months at the University of Cologne’s Institute of Commercial and Labor Law.
Dr. Karaca Yağcı began her academic career as a research assistant in the Department of Labor and Social Security Law in 2011. She is currently a faculty member in the Labor and Social Security Law Department at Marmara University Faculty of Law. Her academic and practical work focuses on Individual Labor Law, Collective Labor Law, Occupational Health and Safety Law, and the legal aspects of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. She is also fluent in German.
As a certified mediator, Dr. Karaca Yağcı has been actively involved in alternative dispute resolution methods since 2023, providing mediation training in this field.
